Gear coupling with ATEX certification

A little while ago a potential customer was looking for an ATEX certified coupling to be placed between gearbox and winch drum. Since the winch drum needs to be easily dismounted in this specific application, the customer wanted to have a split coupling which gives the opportunity to leave the gearbox in position and take the winch drum out of the frame.

Due to the environmental conditions, ATEX was a must and we were able to supply a gear coupling with finish bores and keyways with ATEX certificate, produced by our partner Northon Trasmissioni from Italy.

Reliable transmissions for the theatre industry

For a project in the theatre industry, we supplied two mechanically coupled bevel helical geared motors (IRK-153 with hollow shaft Ø120mm from I.Mak), which will be used to drive a winch system of a portal bridge.
